Written by our Founder and CEO, our Celebrations Pulse Sunday Letters aim to engage with our community. From sharing stories to welcoming your ideas, we want to help you to express, connect, and celebrate the important people in your life.
Each year, everyone has one special day where they’re showered with gifts, cards, and posts of appreciation. Children look forward to this day as they anticipate presents, cakes, and a party. As we grow older, life gets busy, and the magic of the day sometimes dwindles. But the day is no less special.
Of course, we’re talking about birthdays. They mark the start of someone’s life and everything a person has achieved since then. Everyone has one, and everyone deserves the celebration.
We often urge our community to connect with and celebrate the people important in our lives. If you’re ever wondering how and when to get started, someone’s birthday is a great place to begin. The fact is, every birthday is special, whether the birthday boy or girl is turning eight or 80. Birthdays are an opportunity to connect with the people in our lives and reflect on accomplishments, learnings, and memories.
When we think back to our own birthdays, we remember who we were with and how we felt in those cherished moments. This special day often gives us memories to reflect on during the other 364 days of the year.
